Good Morning and Happy Tuesday. I bet you are getting ready for the 4th of July long weekend. I know I am. We are leaving for a camping trip up North, so this week is lots of prep work. Sometimes I feel like I need vacations from my vacations after all the work that gets put into them.
I’m so excited to share this next home with you. This home belongs to my sweet and talented friend Beth. She has the most perfect mix of farmhouse allure with bright beautiful neutrals. The simplicity in her home is inviting, calming, and classic. She is a Pediatric Nursing Professor and has a home an hour south from where we live in Orange County. I just love her home and its coastal vibe. I know you will too!!
“I kept our entryway simple with a new basket, and cute fish from Home Goods. Pretty summer flowers always add a nice summer vibe. Our entryway table was chalk painted last summer and is one of my favorite diy’s!”
“Our family room got a quick update with this adorable turquoise whale and a couple of other coastal items. I found an amazing capiz shell vase that looks great against our shiplap and goes nicely with our clock.”
“I gave our chest of drawers a quick update by replacing the knobs with a more white and grey finish.”
“Our fiddle leaf fig is holding on and even sprouted two new leaves! Yipee!”
“The simplicity of a single hydrangea is so pretty next to the sea shell.”
“I kept our shelves above the TV simple with a new fun sign, tray and of course a pretty number 11.”
“Our kitchen got a quick update with a new jute rug with light blue and green and fun accents like this pretty blue vase I already owned and added a couple of succulents that I like to move around…sometimes I love to display them on our window ledge above the kitchen sink.”
“Our dining room shelves are simple with faux greenery from IKEA and an updated chalkboard sign.”
“Isn’t summer time the best time to entertain? I love making smoothies for the girls and water infused with lemon, cucumbers, or using fruit and mint leaves. It tastes delicious, is easy to make, and is so pretty.”
“My new mint, strawberry and berry concoction was a recent hit with my girls – so refreshing and they absolutely loved it. It is also a great beverage to serve guests on a hot summer day!”
I don’t know about you but I feel more relaxed after looking around Beth’s home. I am so inspired by the airy whites and pops of color. Beth is truly a one of a kind decorator and designer, but she is also one the sweetest and most encouraging people I have met on Instagram. You can find Beth, her home, and her lovely blog on instagram @111lightlane
Happy Tuesday sweet friends!
Her home is beautiful!! Loved reading this!
I Love Beth and her gorgeous home!
