It’s time for another amazing DIY blog hop. If you’re new around here I love getting together with some of my favorite bloggers to bring you some of the best DIY’s. If you’re coming here from Kelly’s blog, over at The Tattered Pew, I am so glad you have stopped by. I would love for you to stay a while. Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss anything! How great was her “How to” with decorating and stying her vintage plant stand. She is such an inspiration to me and I am always so amazed and inspired by these ladies. (Make sure you check out the rest of their DIY’s as well!)
I’ve shared these no sew pumpkins before, but I couldn’t help but sharing them again because I made a few more this year and they are just the cutest. They are cheap, easy, and a perfect addition to any fall home.
This DIY Pumpkin is so easy even a toddler can do it. Literally, I learned this when I visited a friend a few years ago and her preschooler came home with this craft. I then let my little ones help me make these, and they look great!
Supplies:
1 roll of toilet paper
Tissue Paper (the kind you wrap a gift with)
1 piece of fabric measuring 24″X 24″
1 stick about 4 inches long- try to find a thick one
Cut a piece of fabric about 24″x 24″
You can Pin this project for later. Just click the left hand side of this photo to save to Pinterest!
Step One:
Place the roll of toilet paper in the center of the fabric.
Step Two:
Crumple up tissue paper and place around the roll (about one sheet circling the entire roll)
Step Three:
Starting at one of the shorter sides of the fabric use the stick to tuck the fabric into the center of the toilet paper roll.
Step Four:
Work your way around the roll tucking small sections at a time.
Step Five:
Use the stick to continue pushing material down into the center.
Step Six:
After the last piece is tucked in, leave the stick as the stem.
And there you have it, your first and cutest piece of fall.
