DIY Wooden Wall Hanging

A Sweet Addition to Baby Girls Room

This Bunny project comes just in time for Easter, which was not planned, by the way. I was inspired for her room when I found this Amazing wallpaper from  Anthropology. And now I am a little obsessed with all things bunny.

If you’re interested in my design plans for this room, check them out here!

This DIY was the exactly what I was looking for. In fact, it was the last piece to finishing Kennedy’s room. I had been on the search for something when this idea came to me. As always, I am on a budget and making something like this saved me a ton of money.

This DIY costs about $10 and took about 10 minutes to make. You can also switch out the print for anything. It would be a perfect DIY for a sprint flower print, or lemons for the summer.

Supplies

Print of choice (11″ x 17″)- Click here to purchase Bunny print -$6

Wood Strips cut at 12″ -$2
(I found these at Home Depot, but you could find them at crafting stores as well)

Twine/ Jute

Hot Glue Gun

How to Create

Step One:

Find a print you wall to mount. Here is the link to the Etsy shop I purchased this sweet bunny print from. You can print it any size, but I purchased a digital download in which I could print an 11″ x 17″ Tabloid print.

Step Two:

Print your photo, water color, or image. I have an xerox machine accessible to me, but if this is not the case for you, you can print this for a few cents at Staples, or other printing companies.

Step Three:

Cut wood to size. I wanted mine to hang over by about 1/2″, so I cut mine at 12″.

Step Four:

Hot Glue back end of print to wood, add twine on front, and sandwich with another piece of wood.

Step Five:

Repeat step four without the twine.
