Kennedy Christine’s Nursery
I cannot tell you how excited I have to share this sweet space with you all. As many of you know, baby girl came super early and this mama was not ready. My sweet 5 year olds first statement, when hearing that sister would be here early was, “but her nursery isn’t finished yet”. I had very little ready, so seeing this room come together makes having her here in the room so special.
This personalized wooden wall piece was one of my favorite purchases.
Even though the room wasn’t ready the day she came home, it was worth the wait. I cannot wait for our sweet girl to learn about the world, and grow in this space.
I was first inspired for this room when I found this beautiful Anthropology wallpaper. You can purchase it for even cheaper here!
This shelf was originally in our boys room (you can see what it looked like before here) . It’s one of my main curb side finds. I found it in our old apartment complex when I was 9 months pregnant with our first. I told my husband, “drag that thing upstairs, or I’ll need to buy a dresser.” I’ve never seen him drag something upstairs so quickly. If you caught my instagram stories, I chalk painted this beauty using my favorite chalkpaint from Rustoleum, and added dowels to create another closet space for little miss thang. I mean what little girl doesn’t need extra closet space.
The natural woods, neutral tones, and hints of blush pink are the perfect combination, and a little girls dream. I love sitting in this little chair with my baby girl, feeding her and talking to her. For so many days, I dreamt of what she would be like, look like, and now that she is here, I am soaking up every second.

Creating a nursery space is so exciting, and thinking this will be my last baby makes me so sad. I am going to keep dreaming up the spaces. Follow along on Pinterest to see all of my nursery inspiration.
