Spring is almost here!! Our Spring bedroom is one of my favorite spaces in our home right now. And you can create this same look for little to nothing and the best part is it’s super simple.
To create a simple spring look in your bedroom, try adding soft, floral colors like pastels, and other soft hues.
Green Chalkboards
I came across these green chalkboards last year, and they have become my favorite way to accessorize the last two springs. After finding these cuties, I decided to make some more on my own.
You can purchase this color chalkboard paint at Home Depot, Amazon, or other craft stores.
Purchase thin wood, like plywood, and paint one to three coats.
I added jute to the back of each board using a hot glue gun so I could hang them.
Floral Embroidery Wreaths
Next, I added some floral embroidery wreaths. It’s not spring without florals right?! These hoops are easy and cost very little!
I purchased different sized embroidery hoops at Michaels. Make sure you download their app for coupons! I then separated the hoops so I would have two of each size.
After you purchase greenery and florals of choice at any craft store, you will attach them to the hoops.
Cut small pieces of greenery and florals, and using floral wire, attach different combinations of florals and greenery to each hoop. To give extra security, add hot glue where needed.
This combo of pastels is a perfect addition for spring and will bring a little life to any space of yours just in time for the pretty blooms, showers, and all that spring time brings!!
Happy DIYing & Happy Spring… Don’t forget to check out all my sweet friends and their beautiful DIY’s.
